Delta Beta 40th Anniversary
Reunion Highlights
October 2–4, 2026
Washington, D.C. & Bethesda, Maryland
Welcome Home, Brothers.
Forty years after our story began in 1986, Delta Beta brothers and guests came together for a weekend of friendship, laughter, music, and memories. From returning to American University to celebrating with more than 170 guests at The Cordell, our reunion reminded us how much we share—and how strong those bonds remain.

A Weekend of Reconnecting Begins
Friday brought brothers back together, with flag football at Jacobs Field and a welcome gathering at Nick’s Riverside Grill at Washington Harbor. Familiar faces, shared stories, and long-awaited reunions set the tone for the weekend ahead.
For some, it had been years—or decades—since they had last seen one another. Once the conversations began, there was plenty of catching up to do.

Back Where It All Began
Our “Welcome Back to AU” gathering at the Mary Graydon Center connected alumni with current chapter brothers and brought generations of Delta Beta together on campus. Campus and chapter house visits offered a chance to revisit familiar places, see what has changed, and share stories with the brothers carrying the chapter forward.
A special welcome from American University: The president of American University spoke to our group, adding a memorable moment to our return to campus and our celebration of Delta Beta’s 40-year history.
Seeing founding fathers, alumni, and current brothers together was a powerful reminder that the chapter’s story continues with each new generation.

The Main Event at The Cordell
More than 170 guests gathered at The Cordell in Bethesda for the centerpiece of reunion weekend. The sold-out celebration brought brothers and guests together for food, drinks, photos, live entertainment, and a night honoring four decades of Delta Beta.
The Story of Tonight
The evening offered a chance to look back at our beginnings, celebrate the people who helped build the chapter, and recognize the friendships that have endured. Forty years after a group of students came together at AU, we had a room full of reasons to celebrate what they started.
Live at The Cordell
Our own brothers helped provide the soundtrack to the celebration: Jon Rubin (Theta ’91), DJ Olly Wall (Mu Lambda ’19), and Morgan Karon, A.K.A. DaMerg (Mu Xi ’22). Their talents brought generations of Delta Beta into the same celebration.
Remembering Our Brothers
Our memorial tribute honored the brothers we have lost. Taking time to remember them together was a meaningful part of the evening and a reminder that they remain part of Delta Beta’s story.
May their memories be a blessing, and may their brotherhood live on in our hearts forever.
Sunday • October 4
One More Game. A Few More Stories.
The weekend concluded with a football watch party at Tommy Joe’s in Bethesda—a relaxed opportunity to enjoy food, watch the games, and spend a little more time together before heading home.
It was a fitting finish to a weekend built around the simple joy of being together again.
Thank You for Being Part of Our Story
To every brother and guest who joined us, and to everyone who helped plan, organize, perform, share photos, and bring this weekend to life: thank you. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm made this anniversary a celebration to remember.
Keep sharing your reunion photos and videos so we can preserve these memories and enjoy them together for years to come.
